Last Day of 2007

New Year Eve has always been a sorrow day for me. It kind of signaling me that age have catch on me and the worst thing is I always felt I haven't been productive for the year. But for 2008, it will be different. I have set goals and challenges for myself for this year. In fact, I have set my resolution for 2008. And I will achieve all of them!

Many thanks to my family and friends for being supportive to me. Specially to my mother for being attentive and helpful to my needs. Also to my buddy, Don for guiding and advising me when I run into troubles.

Lets hope that JDMCarTuner.com would turn out to be a success. Yay, Happy New Year people!

Xiao Qian & Randy's Big Day

My cousin (Xiao Qian) and Randy got married yesterday. There were many bloopers whereby during the exchange of vows, Xiao Qian misread the surname of her husband. LOL. Of course the crowd burst into laughter. I realised Randy made great speech. He is well composed when he was delivering the "thank you" speech at the end of the ceremony. I though to myself that that's also one of the skills that a successful man must possess.

I got up late again. Been lazy around and have not been touching on JDMCarTuner.com.com recently. Lazy has always been my number one bad habit. Today is also Xiao Qian and Randy's wedding dinner. The place was nice but was badly located. The restaurant (Paramount Restaurant) was surrounded by sleazy pubs. You are greeted with Philippine & Indonesia girls wearing also very sleazily. This is a very bad influence to the younger generation. Then again, the food were great, service was par and atmosphere was wonderful. I was think when will my turn comes to walk the aisle with my future partner. Tomorrow will be the very last day of 2007. Although there isn't much accomplishment for me, I just hope that next year would be a fruitful and successful year for me. I got a whole list of tasks and projects to complete. Hope I will complete them all. Enjoy the photos!

The Fall Back Plan

Today I was reprimanded by my buddy and it was harsh. He threw question about what I have planned for my future. Unfortunately, I couldn't answer them. Yes, I have plans to start a series of websites which will generate passive income to fund my other projects. But I didn't consider the fact that what if all websites didn't work. What if none really take off after 2-3 years. Yup, that sums everything up. He was asking me why didn't I step up to the challenge of being a property agent which can be pretty rewarding. You could practice and brush up your selling skills, make lots of money and have a bigger exposure which was what ones need in order to be successful.

I was ashamed, very ashamed. How can I preach my thoughts to my other friend when I didn't even practice what I know. Don said we are restarting today. I am thankful to him after what I have done. Thanks for keeping me in track, buddy!

Christmas Day

This post is dedicated to both EVE and actual day of CHRISTMAS.

Eve of Christmas
Woke up pretty early today because the delivery man from "Up North" suddenly show up. Wakaka, game time! Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is great. I give a 9/10 for that master piece. Went singing with Qui Leng and shawn at AMK KBOX from 7pm to 10pm ++. I had my very own MTV of singing an unknown Christmas Carol. Singing on Christmas Eve cost a whopping SGD $120 for that miserable 3 Hrs. Dang. We went for it anyway. Next went meeting Wei ren and Huimin for dinner. I was very hungry, I had a fortune cake (Fa Gao) for breakfast and that lasted till 11PM. DXXX, I'm good. We had Shanghai barbecue pork rice + Shui Mai + Har Kao + Siu Long Bao + Salad Fritter + Hong Kong stocking tea (Si Wa Nai Cha). Shiokenaden! After the dinner, we went for talk cock sing song session at East Coast Park.

Christmas Day
Working at Vivocity today, didn't feel like working on festival season. Need to rush for JDMCarTuner.com as the deadline is coming. I planned to complete this draggy project which I started 1 year +++ ago by December 2007. I really hope I could finish the project but the COD4 DVD is jeopardizing the plan. Wakakaka, temptation is killing me. At least by now, 6pm, I had some accomplishment. On ya, 4th Aunt and family is coming to stay with us for a few days. Looks like its gonna be complicated. My cousin is getting married in 3 days!

I might be a promising property agent!

I woke up late due to the pressure of my project. I have only edited 3 or maybe 4 articles the night before. Heard that mom was with 3rd aunt who was famous for gossiping and bragging. I had enough of that, really. Started on where I stopped yesterday night, I slowly realise those auto articles I crafted weren't that original and wasn't that detailed as they were supposed to be. The lack of information, knowledge and images were killing me. Never mind that, I could come around these obstacles with hope that I have money to get a new scanner as the old one decided to throw in the towel.

As I mentioned earlier, 3rd aunt was bragging how well my cousin was doing in the so called " Finance Industries" and the son was driving. The look at my dad's face makes me realise I wasn't a great shield to that projectile. I need some results! And FAST! That's the pressure acting on me now. Although I have plans of to bring up myself to some respected level. But the plan would take some time and worst, it might not even work out.

Mr Liang, aka Don, my buddy had requested me to assist him to be a property agent. I knew he need some form of help at his time are all tied up. I agreed anyway. The pressure from 3rd aunt's bragging do have some effect on this decision. Dang...

All I hope now is my plans would fall out nicely like I wanted. I would strive hard. Yes, I know I'm lazy and have a unsettled mind. Focus boy, FOCUS!
